SINTOMATOLOGÍA DE TCA EN MUJERES JÓVENES: ASOCIACIÓN CON LA COMPARACIÓN SOCIAL Y LA INFLUENCIA DE LA RED SOCIAL INSTAGRAM

Abstract

El trabajo expuesto es el reflejo de los resultados, además de una descripción de la literatura previa relacionada con éste ámbito de la investigación y las respectivas conclusiones obtenidas según nuestras hipótesis en un estudio realizado, cuya muestra está formada únicamente por mujeres, donde los principales objetivos del estudio fueron: : 1) Analizar la relación entre la comparación de la apariencia física de las participantes con la sintomatología de Trastorno de conducta alimentaria (TCA); 2) Analizar la asociación entre variables relacionadas con la comparación social en la red social Instagram y la sintomatología TCA y 3) Observar si existen diferencias de grupo (personas con y sin sintomatología TCA) en las variables relacionadas con la comparación social en la red social Instagram.

The work presented is a reflection of the results, in addition to a description of the previous literature related to this field of research and the respective conclusions obtained according to our hypotheses in a study carried out, whose sample is made up only for women. The main objectives of this study were: 1) To analyse the relationship between the physical appearance comparison of the participants with the ED (Eating Disorders) symptoms; 2) Analyse the association between variables related to the social comparison in the social network Instagram and the ED symptoms; 3) Observe if there were group differences (people with and without ED symptoms) in the variables related to the social comparison in the social network Instagram.
