(EN) Social network sites (SNS) have been integrated into the individuals’ day-to-day, due to the advances thereof as well as advances in new mobile phones. Likewise, people have benefited from SNSs in several areas. However, SNS misuse provokes negative consequences, e.g., addiction. The craving experience is often accompanied by loss of control in the addiction, so it is expected that this loss of control may explain the symptoms of addiction to SNSs, along with motivational and hedonic mechanisms. In this study, we aimed to examine these aspects simultaneously. University students between 17.8 and 30 years old indicated the level of valence, craving, and dominance to the RRSS through the Self-Assessment Manikin (SAM). Several multiple linear regressions indicated that addiction symptoms to SNS were predicted by higher craving and lower dominance. Valence was not a significant predictor in these models.
