CREANDO FUTURO DESDE LOS BARRIOS, UN PROYECTO DE DESARROLLO DEL TEJIDO SOCIAL Y DINAMIZACIÓN COMUNITARIAS EN BARRIOS VULNERABLES

Abstract

El presente Trabajo Final de Grado pretende resaltar la importancia del movimiento asociativo y vecinal, así como la pertinencia de utilizar metodologías participativas en la intervención comunitaria para desarrollar cauces de participación que ayuden a canalizar las necesidades de las personas, a ampliar la concienciación y el fortalecimiento de las relaciones grupales y del tejido social comunitario, con el fin de mejorar la autonomía, la implicación y la participación de los ciudadanos en los asuntos que les conciernen. Elementos, todos ellos esenciales para la transformación social y para establecer procesos de inclusión de las personas que se encuentran en una situación vulnerable. Por todo ello, además, se ha diseñado un proyecto de intervención social que pretende materializar todo lo descrito anteriormente y forjar las bases necesarias para crear futuros cauces de participación que permitan la transformación social, desde el contexto del barrio del Polígono del Valle en Jaén.

The main aim of this Final Grade Paper is to highlight the importance of the associative and neighbourhood movement, as well as the pertinence of using participatory methodologies in community intervention to develop channels of participation that help to channel the needs of people, increase awareness and strengthen not only group relations but also the community social fabric. The ultimate purpose is to improve the autonomy, involvement and participation of citizens in matters that concern them. Elements, all of them, essential for social transformation and the establishment of processes for the inclusion of people who are in a vulnerable situation. For all of this, a social intervention project has also been designed to materialize all mentioned above and to build the necessary foundations in order to create future channels of participation that allow social transformation, from the context of the neighbourhood of the ‘Polígono del Valle’ in Jaen.
