(EN)This Master's Thesis (TFM) investigates the factors that influence the quality of life of dependent elderly people in Bailén (Jaén), through a survey of people over 65 years of age. The main findings reveal that these people face difficulties such as reduced mobility, dependency, cognitive problems, loneliness and specific health problems. Quality of life is affected by health, independence, social support, personal relationships and economic situation. The study highlights the need to improve communication about available resources and increase the dissemination of services such as home help and telecare. The high demand for more hours of home help and the need to streamline administrative processes is also noted. Although general satisfaction with the care received is high, areas for improvement persist, such as increasing assistance time and the stability of care staff. The study concludes that it is essential to address both the physical, emotional and social needs of dependent older people, recommending the implementation of social support programs and improvements in infrastructure and mobility.
