Resumen
"El suicidio es un problema de salud pública que afecta a todos los grupos de edades; pero una franja de edad que se ve visiblemente afectada son los adolescentes (10-19 años). A lo largo del estudio de esta materia hemos podido encontrarnos con diferentes autores que han desarrollados distintos programas de prevención, cuyo enfoque y resultado analizaremos a lo largo del trabajo. Durante el desarrollo de la investigación, en primer lugar analizaremos cuales son los factores de riesgo y de protección frente al suicidio, seguidamente desarrollaremos las teorías más importantes que se han propuesto hasta la actualidad, y por último, analizaremos algunos de los programas que se han llevado en la última década. Los programas analizados reflejan unos resultados positivos para la prevención del suicidio, pero a pesar de tener esos datos esperanzadores no hay que perder de vista que la investigación en este campo es transcendental."
