Abstract

El efecto Einstellung, estudiado por Luchins en 1942, se define como la tendencia a utilizar una manera previamente aprendida de resolver problemas, aunque haya dejado de ser el método más adecuado. Se pretende aquí hacer una revisión sistemática de los estudios que se han desarrollado al respecto, con el fin de descubrir los mecanismos subyacentes a este tipo de rigidez cognitiva, así como su relación con la experiencia en un campo concreto de conocimiento.

The Einstellung effect was investigated by Luchins in 1942, and is defined as the tendency to use a previously learned method problem-solving when it is not already the best way for that. We have a systematic review of the studies that have been made, in order to discover the mechanisms underlying to this type of cognitive rigidity, so as the relationship between experience in a domain and the Einstellung effect.
