Resumen
[ES] El estudio de la Inteligencia Emocional en el ámbito organizacional se ha vuelto cada vez más popular como un factor sustancial del éxito profesional. El presente trabajo tiene la finalidad de comprobar la relación existente entre la Inteligencia Emocional y el rendimiento laboral en las organizaciones tanto públicas como privadas. Para ello, se ha realizado una revisión sistemática de la literatura científica actual, seleccionándose un total de 15 estudios de diferentes contextos laborales. Los resultados muestran que en todos los estudios la relación entre estas dos variables es positiva. Se discuten los hallazgos de los diferentes estudios y se plantean propuestas que permitan una medición más exacta de dichas variables en investigaciones futuras.
[EN] The study of Emotional Intelligence in the organizational field has become increasingly popular as a substantial factor of professional success. The present work has the purpose of verifying the existing relationship between Emotional Intelligence and work performance in public and private organizations. For this, a systematic review of the current scientific literature has been carried out, selecting a total of 15 studies from different work contexts. The results show that in all studies the relationship between these two variables is positive. The findings of the different studies are discussed and proposals are proposed that allow a more accurate measurement of these variables in future research.
