Una errónea concepción acerca del contexto educativo puede conducir hacia la idea de tratar de manera
única y exclusiva las competencias cognitivas a la hora de alcanzar los objetivos de aprendizaje
establecidos. Esto implica el abandono completo de las competencias socio-emocionales. El objetivo
principal del presente trabajo, resultante del interés mostrado hacia dicho aislamiento, pretende comprender
una integración entre lo cognitivo y lo emocional en edades tempranas, a la vez que demostrar la influencia
positiva que la inteligencia emocional ejerce sobre futuros aprendizajes académicos e inclusive,
experiencias vivenciales. Por consiguiente, serán ofrecidas distintas estrategias y herramientas destinadas
hacia el docente con la finalidad de contribuir al correcto desarrollo socio-emocional infantil.
A rather common misconception about the educational context may lead to the idea of treating only cognitive competencies when the established learning objectives are achieved. This involves the abandonment of the socio- emotional competencies. The main objective of this project, as a result of the interest shown towards this isolation, is to integrate cognitive and emotional skills in early ages, and also, prove the positive influence that the emotional intelligence exerts over future academic learnings, even in life experiences. Therefore, a variety of strategies and tools will be offered to educational staff in order to contribute for an appropriate childhood social- emotional development.
