Companies have traditionally been characterised as hierarchical organisations where the employees don't participate in the decision-making proccess, they follow the orders of hierarchical superiors with little room for flexibility and innovation. However, in recent times, many companies have noticed that by granting autonomy and the chance to engage participation, employees become more involved in their development, enhancing their results. This has given rise to a new concept: “Employee Centricity”, where the employee is at the centre of the company strategy. Today, many companies are implementing Employee Centricity strategies. These strategies, as well as some of the companies that apply them, are analysed in this paper.
