El Condado de Castilla. Una propuesta didáctica de Historia Medieval

Abstract

[ES]La historia del Condado de Castilla muestra un desarrollo sociopolítico muy complejo y lleno de interpretaciones en las que, durante siglos, se han mezclado realidad y leyenda. Desde sus orígenes hasta la llegada al poder de Fernán González, pasando por el gobierno de los jueces de Castilla, hemos compuesto un discurso histórico en el que analizamos las fuentes y desechamos los mitos, para poner en valor el papel de este condado en la historia, no solo de Castilla, sino del periodo medieval en la Península Ibérica. La Edad Media, en general, es un contenido que no ocupa un largo temario en las programaciones didácticas ni en los libros de texto de Educación Secundaria, y lo mismo ocurre con el condado castellano. Por este motivo, hemos realizado una unidad didáctica sobre dicha temática en la que utilizamos una metodología activa que hace protagonista al alumnado, que mezcla tradición e innovación, que incorpora el uso de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación, y que incluye la gamificación. De esta forma, pretendemos hacer más atractivo un periodo fundamental en la historia peninsular y que supuso la estructura sobre la que se desarrollará el Estado más importante de la Europa cristiana medieval.[EN]The history of the County of Castille shows a very complex socio-political development full of interpretations in which, for centuries, reality and legend have been mixed. From its origins to the arrival to the power of Fernán González or the government of the judges of Castille, we have composed an historical discourse in which we analyse the sources and we discard the myths, to put in value the role of this county in the history, not only of Castille, but of the medieval period in the Iberian Peninsula. In general, the content related to The Middle Ages and the Castillian county is scarce with in the didactic programmes and text books used in Secondary Education. For this reason, we have carried out a didactic unit on this subject in which we use an active methodology that makes the students the protagonists, mixes tradition and innovation, incorporates the use of the information and communication technologies and includes gamification. In this way, we aim to make more appealing a fundamental period in the history of the península. This period built the structure upon which the most importante State in the Christian medieval Europe was to develop.
