Resumen
Las intervenciones asistidas con animales (IAA) corresponden a intervenciones de carácter
terapéutico, educativo o de ocio. Se han realizado diversas investigaciones que demuestran los
beneficios que generan las intervenciones asistidas con animales al igual que la educación asistida
con animales. Uno de los objetivos de esta terapia es promover la educación de una manera
distinta en diversos ámbitos como puede ser un centro escolar o un hospital.
En el hospital, dentro del aula hospitalaria, encontramos multitud de niños/as que por
circunstancias médicas tienen que dejar de asistir al colegio. Por ello, actualmente se promueven
distintas terapias dentro del hospital para garantizar la continuidad educativa de estos usuarios y la
mejora de su estado de ánimo.
Usualmente los pacientes oncológicos son los que más tiempo pasan hospitalizados. Por ello, se
creará el diseño de un proyecto de investigación el cual nos podrá ofrecer datos relevantes respecto
a los beneficios que genera la EAA en los pacientes oncológicos pediátricos. Se diseñará un
programa en el que se trabaje, junto al perro, aspectos tantos educativos como psicológicos
ofreciendo los datos necesarios para poder sacar conclusiones.
Animal-assited interventions (IA) correspond to inteventions of a therapeutic, educational or leisure nature. Various investigations have been carried out that demonstrate the benefits generated by animal-assisted interventions as well as animal-assisted education. One of the objetives of this therapy is to promote education in a different way in various settings such as schools or hospitals. Inside a hospital classroom, we can find a multitud of children who are forced to stop attending school due to medical circumstances. For this reason, different therapies are curently being promoted within the hospital to guarantee the educational continuity of these users and to improve their state of mind Cancer patients are usually the ones who spend the most time hospitalized. For this reason, in this thesis it will be developed a research project designed to be able to offer us relevant data regarding the benefits generated by AS in pediatric cáncer patients. The program studies the relationships between the children ant therapeutic dogs. Both aducational and psychological aspects are worked on, offering the necessary data to be able to draw conclusions.
