UNIDAD DIDÁCTICA “HERENCIA MENDELIANA” PROCESO DE ENSEÑANZAAPRENDIZAJE EN EDUCACIÓN SECUNDARIA

Abstract

[ES] La genética es una rama de la Biología, que en las últimas décadas ha experimentado un gran crecimiento gracias a las nuevas técnicas y tecnologías que han surgido. Esto ha provocado que aumente la investigación y como consecuencia se hayan producido nuevos descubrimientos, los cuales provocan que surjan nuevas cuestiones sociales que giran en torno a temas bioéticos. Por esto es importante que las nuevas generaciones tengan una serie de conocimientos sobre la genética para entender las nuevas técnicas y descubrimientos que se van desarrollando y dar su opinión crítica sobre estas novedades. Por tanto, es importante que el alumnado adquiera una serie de conocimientos básicos sobre genética, pero diversos estudios demuestran que el alumnado presenta una gran dificultad para comprender e interiorizar este temario. Debido a esto se ha realizado una unidad didáctica en la que el alumnado trabajará el temario de genética con distintas metodologías para alcanzar este objetivo.

[EN] Genetics is a field of Biology, which, in last decades, has experienced great growth thanks to the new techniques and technologies that have emerged. This has caused an increase in research and, as a consequence, new discoveries have been generated, causing new social questions which concentrate on bioethical issues arise. For this reason, it is important that new generations own some knowledge about genetics in order to understand the new techniques and discoveries that are being developed and provide them with a critical opinion of these developments. Therefore, it is important that students acquire a series of basic knowledge about genetics, but various studies show that students have great difficulty in understanding and internalizing this content. Due to this, a didactic unit in which students will work on genetics with different methodologies to archieve this objective.
