[EN] Objective: To gather the main scientific evidence currently available on the effectiveness of exercise therapy for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). Methods: A literature review was performed in the databases MEDLINE, PEDro and CINAHL, using “Chronic fatigue síndrome”, “Myalgic encephalomyelitis”, “Exercise therapy”, “Yoga” and “Qigong” as keywords. Studies published from January 2005 to April 2016 were selected. The scale PEDro was used to test the quality of these studies. Results: 996 studies were found after the search, of which 7 were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Mental and physical fatigue, depression, anxiety, phyisical and mental functioning, quality of life and quality of sleep were evaluated. The studies were classified attending to the type of intervention: graded exersice therapy, qigong and yoga. Conclusion: Exercise therapy can improve fatigue, physical function and quality of sleep in patients with CFS. There is limited evidence about exersice therapy improves anxiety, depression and quality of life.
