Resumen
[ES] Mi objetivo principal con este trabajo es destacar los valores morales más importantes en el libro Harry Potter y la Piedra Filosofal, escrito por J.K. Rowling. Este trabajo está dividido en dos partes. En la primera, se destaca la importancia de los valores en la literatura infantil, se señalan los diferentes tipos de literatura, y se desarrolla un breve resumen de la historia de la literatura para niños/as. En la segunda parte, se seleccionan una serie de valores y se analiza el modo en el que aparecen ilustrados en la novela Harry Potter y la Piedra Filosofal. Mi meta es remarcar la importancia de los valores en la literatura infantil, enfatizando la necesidad de educar a los niños/as en ellos.
[EN] My main objective with this work is to underline the most important moral values in the book Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J.K. Rowling. This work is divided in two parts. In the first one, the importance of values in literature for children is remarked, followed by the presentation of the different types of literature together with a brief history of literature for children. In the second part, certain values are selected in order to analyse the way in which they are illustrated in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. My aim is to remark the importance of values in children’s literature, thus emphasizing the need to educate children in them.
