Resumen
A lo largo de la vida todas las personas sufren la pérdida de algún ser querido y,
aunque en la mayoría de los casos el duelo se logra superar con el tiempo, en otras
ocasiones se vuelve complicado y es necesario la ayuda psicológica. El objetivo de este
trabajo se ha basado en la revisión de los distintos modelos y manifestaciones que se
producen durante el proceso de la pérdida, así como el análisis de la evolución que han
presentado las terapias de conducta. A pesar de que este proceso ha sido investigado desde
múltiples perspectivas psicológicas apenas se han realizado análisis desde las terapias de
tercera generación; por ello, en este estudio se ha llevado a cabo una revisión de la Terapia
de Aceptación y Compromiso (ACT), proponiendo además una intervención para el caso
del duelo.
