In a first experiment, an attempt was made to replicate the study by Reyes-Jiménez et al. (2020) with an extra variable, vibration. That is, to assess the context specificity of habituation by exposing the worms to bright light in contexts with vibration and odours, after which they were presented with the same stimulus in a different context. There were no differences between the groups that were re-exposed to the stimulus in the same context or in a different context. On the other hand, in a second experiment, an attempt has been made to find changes in the reactivity to light in earthworms by changing the environmental conditions in which they are housed for 15 days, light or dark conditions, in order to then measure their habituation to exposure in a bright light.
