[EN]The following Master's Thesis (TFM) has been dedicated to the design of a program of Assisted Education with Animals (AEA), specifically, a pilot study of Assisted Education with Dog called "Te lo cuentoDog" aimed at boys and girls of the first cycle of Primary Education. First, a bibliographic review has been carried out in relation to the type of program and group to which it is addressed, from which relevant data has been obtained for the justification of this work. Secondly, the design of the program organized in phases (Preliminary Phase, Intervention Phase and Completion Phase) has been developed and thus be able to achieve a good execution and design. The main objective is to work from an early age to raise awareness and raise awareness about gender equality through the assisted reading of a dog that will act as a motivating agent. In this way, contents included in the Primary Education curriculum have been addressed, such as increasing motivation towards reading and improving reading fluency and compression, thus achieving a more complete teaching-learning process. It is also intended to create a climate of trust and respect between human-animal, these values of respect contribute positively to the process of growth and personal maturation of children. The duration of this study will be monthly, it will have five sessions and will be carried out in the school itself. The professionals involved in this project are a Social Educator, intervener in Animal Assisted Interventions (AAI), an AAI technician who will act as a guide and the Animal of Intervention (AI) in this case, an Intervention Dog (ID). Society advances but there are internalized values that do not progress, these are of a negative nature, as is the case of gender inequality. There is still much to reach the goal: gender equality, since society is conditioned by social, economic and cultural factors. That is why a social change is needed, where their values, norms and traditions are restructured. In order to contribute to this change, it is necessary to have projects of this type, in order to raise awareness among children on this issue and raise awareness of gender equality. ID intervention is essential, provides greater motivation, greater interest for the recipients and makes it possible to achieve the objectives more efficiently and effectively. With the execution of this pilot study, it is expected to achieve the objectives set forth and publicize the AAE. Keywords: Animal Assisted Education, Intervention Dog, Gender Equality, Primary Education, Reading.
