(EN)Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) has become widespread in educational environments all around the world due to diverse reasons: English is considered as the vehicular language for economic, political, and sociocultural interactions; it is believed that an early start favours the learning of a foreign language; CLIL instruction has its base on innovative and meaningful experiences; and the European Union has promoted a policy for its citizens to become part of a multilingual society. CLIL places learners in the centre of learning and encourages them to actively participate in the construction of their own knowledge. Cooperative learning promotes a learning environment where abilities, thinking and communication skills, and relationships among peers are developed and improved by working in groups. This paper presents a didactic proposal about the application of CLIL and Cooperative Learning in the area of Arts and Crafts.
