Resumen
[ES]Este trabajo presenta un análisis y una descripción del panorama formativo y profesional actual en el ámbito del Español
como Lengua Extranjera (ELE), que junto a una descripción de la situación actual del auge del ELE proporcionará al
profesor novel una visión global y lo más abarcadora posible de este ámbito para que pueda servirle como
orientación en la toma de decisiones relativas a su formación continua y especializada, así como a la búsqueda de
empleo.
Asimismo, se pone de relieve futuras vías de acción que conviene emprender para que la formación del profesor de ELE,
su cualificación y sus competencias apunten a la misma dirección, lo cual repercutirá en un desarrollo eficiente y
efectivo de la enseñanza de español.
[EN]This work presents an analysis and description about the current Spanish as a Foreign Language formative and professional environment, in addition to a description of the current situation about the Spanish as a Foreign Language rise that provide to the inexperienced teacher an overarching and comprehensive approach in this area which can be a guidance in decisions concerning their continuous and specialized training, as well as to the job search. It also highlights the future action plans that should be taken to move in the same direction: the training of teachers in the Spanish as a Foreign Language, the qualification and skills, which will result in an efficient and effective development of Spanish teaching.
