El abordaje de la violencia de género en la práctica del trabajo social

Abstract

[ES] En este trabajo se investiga la labor que los trabajadores sociales de distintos ámbitos realizan en torno a la violencia de género. Mediante una amplia revisión bibliográfica y entrevistas en profundidad a profesionales del trabajo social, se estudian los protocolos de actuación de cada sector y la interpretación que los profesionales hacen de los mismos. La opinión y propuestas de mejora de dichos técnicos acerca de los propios protocolos toman una especial relevancia. A su vez, se incide en la importancia de la formación específica de todos los agentes involucrados en la detección y prevención de la violencia de género con el fin de mejorar y optimizar la actuación ante dichas situaciones y conseguir el abordaje real y efectivo de este problema social de nuestro país.

[EN] In this work, we analyze the role that social workers have in a specific context: gender violence. Through a wide bibliographic study and some interviews to professional social workers, the action protocols of each sector are studied and also the different impressions that professional social workers have about them. The opinion and the different proposals of the professional social workers for the improvement of these action protocols related to the gender violence take a special relevance. Furthermore, it is important to take into account the specific academic training of the all professionals involved in the detection and prevention related to the gender violence in order to improve and optimize their actions in the different situations they may face. Moreover, and it is also important to solve the problems they could have in different situations to really cope and prevent this social problem in our country.
