MANOS SORDAS

Abstract

[ES]Con el proyecto Manos Sordas pretendo llevar a cabo una investigación artística, para la cual contaré con la colaboración de personas sordas, con problemas de audición o sordoceguera y de todas aquellas personas que de una manera u otra forman parte de la Asociación de Personas Sordas de Jaén, APROSOJA. Para ello, utilizo la práctica artística como método de investigación, ya que ofrece formas de conocer y comprender la realidad social del colectivo a través de formas basadas en la creación artística. De esta manera, desarrollo una investigación con la comunidad, a partir del uso de métodos artísticos con la intención de recoger información en la comunidad, así como medio de expresión de ideas, emociones y sentimientos de las personas implicadas, para, finalmente desarrollar un producto artístico que llevo a cabo a través de la creación de una video-performance. El propósito con la investigación se centra conocer las necesidades de la comunidad, para, a partir de ahí, indagar sobre cómo a través del arte se puede dar visibilidad al colectivo así como de qué manera puede ayudar a mejorar las vidas de las personas implicadas en la investigación.

[EN]With the Manos Sordas project I intend to carry out an artistic research, for which I will count on the collaboration of deaf people, with hearing problems or deafblindness and of all those people who in one way or another form part of the Association of Deaf People of Jaén, APROSOJA. I use artistic practice as a research method, as it offers ways of knowing and understanding the social reality of the collective through forms based on artistic creation. In this way, I develop an investigation with the community, from the use of artistic methods with the intention of gathering information in the community, as well as means of expression of ideas, emotions and feelings of the people involved, to finally develop a product artistic that I carry out through the creation of a video-performance. The purpose of the research is to know the needs of the community, from there, to investigate how through art you can give visibility to the group as well as how it can help improve the lives of people involved in the investigation.
