Evolución del turismo en el mundo y en España, situación actual del turismo español e impactos que provoca el fenómeno turístico

Abstract

En el presente trabajo, se realiza un breve viaje a través de la evolución y el crecimiento que ha experimentado el fenómeno turístico desde sus inicios hasta la actualidad. A nivel global, se resaltan los distintos sucesos cuya importancia constituyó la alteración del rumbo de este sector, y a nivel nacional, de la misma manera, se describen aquellos acontecimientos que influyeron en el desarrollo de la actividad turística hasta convertir a España en la potencia que actualmente es, plasmando también la situación actual y la comparativa entre los datos que apunta el país antes y después de la crisis sanitaria del Covid-19. Finalmente, se enumeran los distintos impactos que el turismo causa tanto en la economía, como en la sociedad, como en el medio que rodea este fenómeno.

This paper takes a brief journey through the evolution and growth of the tourism phenomenon from its beginnings to the present day. At a global level, it highlights the different events whose importance constituted the alteration of the course of this sector, and at a national level, in the same way, it describes those events that influenced the development of the tourist activity until Spain became the tourist power it is today, also showing the current situation and the comparison between the data that the country points out before and after the health crisis of Covid-19. Finally, the different impacts that tourism has on the economy, on society and on the environment surrounding this phenomenon are listed.
