Resumen
Este trabajo de fin de grado se enfoca en una revisión bibliográfica sobre trastornos alimentarios en
adolescentes, específicamente anorexia y bulimia. Se analizarán causas, consecuencias, factores de riesgo,
tratamiento y efectos en la autoestima. Se destaca la influencia de factores sociales, culturales, ambientales,
familiares e individuales en estos trastornos. Se destaca el papel del trabajador social junto con la
intervención que proporciona en este ámbito junto con la colaboración interdisciplinaria entre psicólogos,
psiquiatras y nutricionistas siendo crucial para un tratamiento integral. Se busca no solo la recuperación
física, sino también el desarrollo emocional y social del adolescente, previniendo recaídas y fortaleciendo su
autoestima y habilidades de vida
This undergraduate thesis focuses on a literature review of eating disorders in adolescents, specifically anorexia and bulimia. It will analyze causes, consequences, risk factors, treatment, and effects on self- esteem. The influence of social, cultural, environmental, familial, and individual factors on these disorders is highlighted. The role of the social worker and their intervention in this context is emphasized, along with the interdisciplinary collaboration among psychologists, psychiatrists, and nutritionists, which is crucial for comprehensive treatment. The aim is not only physical recovery but also the emotional and social development of the adolescent, aiming to prevent relapses and strengthen their self-esteem and life skills
