Resumen
El consumo online se define como cualquier forma de negocio comercial donde un proveedor suministra sus bienes o servicios a un cliente a cambio de un pago, donde ambas partes se comunican electrónicamente en lugar de hacerlo mediante contacto físico directo. Esta revisión pretende analizar el estado en el que se encuentra el consumo online en la actualidad llevando a cabo una búsqueda bibliográfica sistemática en la que se han seleccionado un total de siete estudios, a partir de los cuales, se han analizado los nuevos métodos de pago online, nuevos medios de compra online, el comportamiento del consumidor online y la toma de decisiones por parte de los consumidores previas a la realización de la compra, los riesgos que implica en el consumidor este tipo de compra y la satisfacción que le produce.
Los resultados encontrados sugieren, que las generaciones más jóvenes están más preparadas que personas más maduras para el uso de compras a través de Internet; en lo referente al sexo, destaca el consumo online en el caso de las mujeres por encima de los hombres.

The results found suggest that younger generations are more prepared tan mature people for the use or Internet purchases; regarding sex, online consumption stands out in the case of women over men.
