Resumen
(ES)El estudio analiza el impacto de un programa de actividad física en la calidad y cantidad del sueño en
adolescentes físicamente inactivos. La actividad física desempeña un papel crucial en la salud física y mental
de los jóvenes, y su relación con el sueño es un área de creciente interés. El objetivo de este estudio es evaluar
el efecto de un programa de actividad física semanal en la calidad y cantidad del sueño en adolescentes.
Participaron 98 escolares de 5 colegios e institutos de Andalucía. Las variables dependientes fueron la calidad
y cantidad del sueño, que fueron medidas mediante cuestionarios validados. Los resultados mostraron que los
escolares que participaron en el programa de actividad física experimentaron mejoras significativas en la
calidad y cantidad de su sueño en comparación con el grupo de control. En los chicos, se observaron mejoras
significativas tanto en la calidad como en la cantidad de sueño, mientras que, en las chicas, no se encontraron
