[EN]Scientific and technological development has been unstoppable in recent years and with it, evolution and comfort have been reached levels that we would never have imagined. However, the great advance of the human race is accompanied by the detriment of the planet's health, the overexploitation of natural resources, that are difficult to replace, and the generation of waste that will cause damage in short and long term. In view of this situation, it’s essential to promote scientific literacy and education based on sustainability in order to train a citizenry that is aware of the reality, in wich they lived, and is involved in their problems. For this reason, a Didactic Unit has been designed based on the characteristics and use of energy, fundamentally, on renewable energies as a sustainable and clean alternative to traditional sources of energy. In order to promote the interest and motivation of the students, innovative methodologies have been used such as learning based on projects and problems, learning through innovation and the use of simulators, among others.
