PROGRAMA DE EDUCACIÓN ASISTIDA CON PERRO PARA EL ALUMNADO CON NECESIDADES ESPECÍFICAS DE APOYO EDUCATIVO “ EMOCAN"

Resumen
[ES] El propósito de este trabajo es el diseño de un programa llamado “EMOCAN”. Dicho programa se basa en
la Educación Asistida con Animales (EAA), concretamente con perros. A través de EMOCAN se pretende
trabajar la inteligencia emocional del alumnado de Ed.Primaria con Necesidades Específicas de Apoyo
Educativo (NEAE) que, debido a sus situaciones personales y/o familiares, tienen una mayor dificultad para
adaptarse socialmente. El programa está pensando para llevarlo a cabo durante un curso académico. Está
diseñado para desarrollar una sesión semanalmente con un total de 14, repartidas todas ellas en el primer
trimestre del curso escolar. La finalidad de este programa es la de dotar a las personas participantes de
competencias emocionales para que afronten los distintos aspectos de la vida de manera satisfactoria y
aumentar su bienestar personal y social y el de las personas que están a su alrededor.
[EN] The purpose of this work is the design of a program called EMOCAN. This program is based on Animal Assisted Education (AAE), specifically with dogs. Through this programme we aim to work students' emotional intelligence with special education needs of Primary School that, due to their personal situations or concerning family members, have a greater difficulty adapting socially. The program has been thought to perform during one academic year. We work a weekly session with a total of 14, all of them distributed in the first quarter of the school year. The purpose of this program is to provide people with emotional skills to face different aspects of their lifes in a satisfactory way, furthermore, increase their personal and social well-being, and in addition of the people around them.
