ENFERMEDADES ENDOCRINAS COMO VEHÍCULO APLICADO PARA LA ENSEÑANZA DEL SISTEMA ENDOCRINO

Abstract

[ES]El presente trabajo de fin de máster que lleva por título “Enfermedades endocrinas como vehículo aplicado para la enseñanza del sistema endocrino” aborda el desarrollo de la Unidad Didáctica “El sistema endocrino” que se imparte en el curso 3 de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria. Esta unidad está estrechamente relacionada con la columna vertebral de la asignatura para este curso: la promoción de la salud. Esta unidad se llevará a cabo a través de cinco sesiones donde se impartirán los contenidos y donde se realizará el proceso de evaluación. En este periodo de tiempo, el grupo llevará a cabo un trabajo siguiendo fundamentalmente la metodología de Aprendizaje basado en problemas (ABP). Con ello se persigue el entendimiento de la fisiología del sistema endocrino a través del conocimiento de las alteraciones que tienen lugar en él. Además, se busca la promoción de las enfermedades más comunes relacionadas con el sistema endocrino en la adolescencia, su prevalencia y su prevención a fin de alfabetizar científicamente al alumnado con objeto de que se convierta en ciudadano crítico para la sociedad. [EN]This Final Master’s Project entitled “Endocrine diseases as a vehicle to teaching the endocrine system” includes the developtment of the didactic unit “Endocrine system” in the 3rd course of Compulsory Secondary Education. This unit is closely related to the backbone of the subject for this course: the promotion of health. This unit will be carried out through five sessions where the contents will be taught. In this period of time, the group will work fundamentally following the didactic methodology Problem-Based Learning (PBL). This method aims to achieve an understanding of the physiology of the endocrine system through the knowledge of the alterations taking place in it. In addition, it seeks the promotion of the most common diseases related to the endocrine system in adolescence, its prevalence as well as its prevention. The final aim of this project is to build critical students prepared to become critical citizens in the future. Keywords: Problem-Based Learning (PBL), endocrine system, endocrine diseases.
