[EN] Nowadays, supercapacitors are devices that have made great strides in the energy storage market, due to their unique characteristics such as high capacity, high power density, high stability and relatively low cost, among others. This allows them to have a wide range of applications in our lives. A supercapacitor is a device consisting of two electrodes, with a separator between them to prevent them from coming into electrical contact, and an electrolyte solution. The aim of this Final Degree Project is to experimentally determine the charge and electrical energy stored by electrochemical capacitors by means of the potentiostatic charge/discharge technique through a resistor. In addition, the effect of voltage on the charge and energy of the different capacitors used will be evaluated. Finally, the thermal stability of the capacitors over a range of operating temperatures will be studied.
