Trabajo Social como Instrumento de Control Social: Origen, evolución y actualidad.

Abstract

En las definiciones de distintos autores del concepto control social, hay palabras clave que son las que mejor van a definir dicho concepto: acatamiento, aceptación y sometimiento en cuanto a las normas se refiere, y preservación y mantenimiento del status social. (Aguilar Avilés, 2010) El control social es un tema casi normalizado simiramos desde una perspectiva delictiva, pero ¿hay formas de control para las personas “fuera de las normas” que no llegan a casos extremos como para ser intervenidas por la justicia? El tema fundamental, es la realización de una revisión bibliográfica apoyada en los documentos encontrados referentes al Trabajo Social como instrumento de control social. Especialmente la evolución del término, los problemas encontrados y la aplicación al Trabajo Social en países extranjeros, así como la realidad vivida en el Trabajo Social en España desde después de la Guerra Civil pasando por la llegada de la Democracia y la actualidad.

In the definition, on the part of different authors, of the concept social control, there are key words that are those who better are going to define the above mentioned concept: obeisance, acceptance and submision as for the porcedure refers, and preservation and maintenance of thr social status. (Aguilar Avilés, 2010) The social control is a topic almost normaliced if we look from a criminal perspective, but there are forms of control for the person“out of procedure” that do not come to extreme cases to be controlled by the justice? The fundamental topic is the accomplishment of a bibliographical review rested on the opposing documents relating to the Social Work as instrument of social control. Specially the evolution of the term, the opposing problems the opposing problems and the application to the Social Work in foreign countries, as well as the reality lived in the Social Work in Spain from after the Civil War for the arrival of the Democracy and the current time.
