Resumen
Los drones proveen versatilidad, reducción de costes y, en general, muchas ventajas comparadas con otras herramientas tradicionales. En el campo de la fotogrametría aérea, estos vehículos han comenzado a establecerse. En este trabajo se afronta el reto de la gestión de información procedente de drones con el enfoque en este tipo de estudios multidisciplinares. Específicamente, el estudio de superficies o terrenos. Para ello, inicialmente, se abordarán diversos conceptos que es necesario conocer, como la legislación vigente que regula el uso de drones o su papel específico en este área. Más tarde, se analizará la metodología seguida y procesos necesarios en el estudio. Todo ello con el objetivo de visualizar los desafíos presentes en el sector y proveer herramientas que puedan resolverlos de forma efectiva y eficiente, además añadir aún más utilidad.
