The main objective of this work is to know the role of the Social and Solidarity Economy, highlighting its social utility and exploring its potential and links with Social Work. Thistype of economy acts as a different option from the capitalist economy, seeking transformation, well-being, and a more just and inclusive society. Social Work presents common interests with the Social and Solidarity Economy, both seek social transformation. A bibliographic review of the Social and Solidarity Economy has been carried out, and its connection with Social Work, through which it can be stated that there is valuable economic and social fabric. Due to people-centered attention, the promotion of equity, local development, and resilience in times of crisis.
