Abstract

[ES]El siguiente trabajo trata de poner en valor el legado industrial como recurso indispensable del patrimonio de un territorio. La valoración social de dicho paisaje debe partir de la educación, por ello que es conveniente dedicar una unidad didáctica a esta cuestión. Además, en la provincia de Jaén contamos con un ejemplo único de estas características, el Distrito de Linares-La Carolina, razón de más para focalizar nuestros esfuerzos en su reivindicación y protección. Trataremos de conectar el currículo con el entorno más cercano en un intento de mostrar la faceta más práctica de la materia de geografía e historia.
