Currently, empirical evidence on the efficacy of pharmacological treatments in AN is contradictory, and their use is necessary in severe patients with this pathology. In addition, it is relevant to take into account weight restoration, since it provides important information on drug efficacy. This work focuses on carrying out a systematic review, following the PRISMA guidelines, selecting scientific studies that have analyzed the efficacy of pharmacological treatments in AN to try to get closer to this pathology and to understand why an effective pharmacological intervention is so difficult.
