Resumen
[ES] Tras la Primera Guerra Mundial, el papel de las mujeres en los conflictos armados ha avanzado, hasta ser considerado como un aspecto clave para el establecimiento de la paz y la seguridad internacional. Este avance ha sido respaldado por diversas organizaciones internacionales a lo largo de la historia, cuyo propósito ha sido orientado hacia la defensa de los Derechos Humanos y la igualdad efectiva entre
hombres y mujeres.
Para ello, es necesario la erradicación de cualquier tipo de violencia por razón de género que se produce durante y después de los conflictos armados. La sociedad debe ser igualitaria y, rechazar los estereotipos sexistas que marcaron épocas pasadas. La Historia debe adquirir como eje de desarrollo, una perspectiva de género equitativa, para ser trasmitido de manera efectiva a las siguientes generaciones. Los avances producidos en la incidencia de las mujeres en los conflictos armados continúan siendo insuficientes en una sociedad sesgada y patriarcal.
[EN] After the First World War, the role of women in armed conflicts has advanced, until it is considered a key aspect for the establishment of international peace and security. This advance has been supported by various international organizations throughout history, whose purpose has been oriented towards the defense of Human Rights and effective equality between men and women. For this, it is necessary to eradicate any type of gender-based violence that occurs during and after armed conflicts. Society must be egalitarian and reject the sexist stereotypes that marked the past. History must acquire as an axis of development, an equitable gender perspective, to be transmitted effectively to the following generations. The advances made in the incidence of women in armed conflicts continue to be insufficient in a biased and patriarchal society.
