INTERVENCIONES CON ANIMALES: TERAPIA ASISTIDA CON PERROS

Abstract

Comenzaremos dando a conocer el significado de las Intervenciones con animales, profundizando así en las Terapias Asistidas con Perros, donde existe un equipo multidisciplinar de profesionales del ámbito social, entre ellos el Trabajador Social. Daremos un pequeño salto en el tiempo, remontándonos al origen del vínculo perro- humano, donde comprender la predilección que existe hacia este animal en las Intervenciones. Repasaremos las bases legales, es decir, la ley y normativa de las intervenciones con perros en España. Además de las bases éticas, los ámbitos de aplicación y los beneficios que proporcionan en cada uno de estos. Y comentaremos especialmente, el ámbito de actuación en las Instituciones Penitenciarias. Finalizaremos con las conclusiones, donde la autora muestra su visión por el tema, el cual le resulta fascinante, por relacionar su vocación profesional como trabajadora social, con su predilección por los animalesWe will begin by explaining the meaning of interventions with animals, going deeper into Dog Assisted Therapies, where there is a multidisciplinary team of professionals in the social field, including the Social Worker. Taking a small leap in time, we will go back to the origin of the dog-human bond, where we will understand the predilection that exists towards this animal in interventions. Then we will review the legal bases, that is to say, the law and regulations of interventions with dogs in Spain. In addition to the ethical bases, the areas of application and the benefits they provide in each of these. In particular, we will address the field of action in Penitentiary Institutions. Finally, we will end with the conclusions, where the author shows her vision of the subject, a one which is fascinating to her, due to the relationship between her professional vocation as a social worker and her fondness for animals
