tan variado e importante.
Palabras clave: ecosistema, depredador, equilibrio ecosistémico, aprendizaje
significativo, 3o ESO.
[EN]Teaching in the subjects of Natural Science through using the close environment, including its natural history, structure and functioning is necessary to learn the basics about the world we live in. This leads to the scope of student’s significant learning, and that has an application in real life. In addition, to obtain the objectives of any educational stage, subject, course or block of themes, it is necessary the implementation of a wide methodology. This is the way to avoid all the possibilities of failing in the teaching process, as a failed strategy could be quickly replaced by others. In this work we project a didactic unit for the subject of Biology and Geology at the third year of the Secondary School (3o ESO), in the block “Ecosystems”. The theme "The importance of predators in ecosystems" will be used as the guiding thread of all the contents within this block. In this unit we provide a wide methodological variety. In order to stablish the complexity of this important topic, specific examples will be continuously applied through the use of emblematic and keystone predator species. Keywords: ecosystem, predator, ecological balance, significant learning, 3o ESO.
