Resumen
[ES]En este trabajo se realiza una revisión de la Atención Temprana aplicada al Síndrome de Down. En una primera parte se describe en qué consiste este síndrome y sus características principales tanto a nivel físico como en relación a sus repercusiones en las distintas áreas del desarrollo infantil. En una segunda parte se analiza en qué consiste la atención temprana, sus bases conceptuales, los profesionales que intervienen y los objetivos que persigue. Asimismo en este apartado se enfatiza la conexión entre la atención temprana y la educación infantil. En la última parte de este trabajo se analizan las características de la familia de niños con síndrome de Down y experiencias concretas que se han llevado a cabo con esta población. Para terminar se exponen algunas conclusiones sobre la eficacia de este tipo de intervenciones.
[EN]In this work a review is performed of the Early Attention applied to the Down Syndrome. In the first part it is described of that this syndrome consists and its principal characteristics so much to physical level as in relation to its aftermath in different areas in a child development. In the second part, it is analyzed of what the early attention consists, its conceptual bases, professionals who involved and the aims that it chases. Also in this paragraph the connection is emphasized between the early attention and the child education. In the last part of this work, it is analyzed specific the characteristics of children's family with Down's syndrome and concrete experiences that have been carried out by this population. To end some conclusions are exposed on the efficiency of this type of interventions.
