Diferentes corrientes del pensamiento económico y John Maynard Keynes

Abstract

[ES]El objetivo de este proyecto es hacer un recorrido por las diferentes corrientes del pensamiento económico de todos los tiempos y más concretamente del Keynesianismo, teniendo como máximo representante a John Maynard Keynes. La primera parte del trabajo es un recorrido por la economía, que va desde sus inicios en la antigua Grecia con figuras como Platón o Aristóteles, que fueron de los primeros en dar respuestas al pensamiento económico, hasta las teorías de Keynes y los monetaristas, grandes críticos del Keynesianismo. La segunda parte más centrada en la figura de Keynes, en sus obras y teorías económicas, especialmente su obra Teoría general del empleo, el interés y el dinero, publicada en 1936 y de la cual hoy en día, se siguen aplicando alguna de sus teorías en las políticas del mundo. Las ideas de Keynes supusieron una ruptura con las ideas clásicas. La última parte del trabajo está destinada a las críticas al Keynesianismo y a los desarrollos posteriores a Keynes.

[EN]The purpose of this project is to analyze the different economic thought of all times and more concretely the analysis of Keynesianism, regarding John Maynard Keynes as the highest leader. The first part of this project is about the Economy, from its beginning in the ancient Greece, for example Plato or Aristotle as they were of the firsts answering questions about the economic thought, to the theories of Keynes and his biggest critics, the monetarists. The second part is focus on Keynes, in his economic writings and theories, especially his book General theory of employment, interest and money, published in 1936, which nowadays is in used, some world politics are applying these ideas. The new ideas of Keynes were a break up with the classic ideas. The last part of this study is destined to the criticisms to Keynesianism and the development subsequent to Keynes.
