ESTUDIO PREDIMED PLUS EN EL NODO DE JAÉN: SITUACIÓN DEL MISMO

Abstract

[ES] El estudio PREDIMED PLUS (Prevención con Dieta Mediterránea), se trata de un ensayo multicéntrico, aleatorizado, de prevención primaria en hombres (55-75 años) y mujeres (60-75 años), con un índice de masa corporal ≥ 27 y <40 kg/m2 y síndrome metabólico. Participan un total de 23 provincias, entre las cuales se incluye Jaén. El objetivo es evaluar el efecto de una intervención intensiva sobre el estilo de vida a base de una dieta mediterránea tradicional con restricción de energía, actividad física y tratamiento conductual sobre la prevención de enfermedad cardiovascular.

[EN] The PREDIMED PLUS research is a randomized, multicenter, primary prevention trial in men (55-75 years) and women (60-75 years), with a body mass index ≥ 27 and < 40 kg / m2 and metabolic syndrome. 23 provinces take part in total, among them Jaén is included.
