Anxiety dissease and stress problems are more common among adolescent population, and it causes a large number of difficulties in the social, emotional, physical or mental sphere, also in the academic field limiting to these the opportunity to lead a full and satisfying life. Even though there are numerous protective factors, the practical scope granted by physical activity (PA) at an early age is remarkable. The present study has the objective of presenting, analyzing and checking the relationship between anxiety and / or stress and physical activity in adolescent with ages between 12 to 19 years. Finally, the results conclude that a greater PA practiced (including the minimum of 60 minutes per day recommended by the WHO) a greater protective factor over the possible adverse effects of stressors and/or anxiety agents it will have. It is also added that this protective factor be reinforced when the PA is carried out in a team.
