Masculinidad hegemónica: una mirada sociocultural y literaria

Abstract

La construcción social y la de género se ven supeditadas a la hegemonía masculina que se impone y rige toda norma social que vertebre cualquier ideología. Las consecuencias de esa supremacía que muta y se reinventa se expanden y abarcan ámbitos sociales y psicológicos, dando lugar a que las cifras de acoso escolar o violencia de género, entre otros, se mantengan preocupantes a lo largo de los años. El principal objetivo de la presente investigación es revisar y dar a conocer la bibliografía que versa sobre la masculinidad hegemónica y estudiar la violencia social que supone, para después abordarla desde una perspectiva poco común: la literaria, mediante el estudio y análisis de Bodas de sangre y Ladrilleros. A través del esquema extraído de ideas, comparativas, datos, teorías y citas literarias, se concluye la necesidad de reforzar una temática que urge abordar desde el ámbito educativo y social.

Social and gender construction are subjected to the hegemonic masculinity that imposes itself and rules every social pattern that gives shape to any ideology. The consequences of this mutant supremacy that reinvents itself expands and encompasses social and psychological spheres, giving rise to bullying or gender-based violence figures, among others, to be markedly persistent over the years. The main objective of this research is to review and make known the bibliography that deals with hegemonic masculinity and study the social violence that this involves to later on approach it from an unusual perspective: the literary one, by means of the analysis and study of Bodas de sangre and Ladrilleros. Through the scheme extracted from ideas, comparisons, data, theories and literary quotes, it is concluded the need to provide reinforcement to a topic that urgently needs to be addressed from the educational and social spheres.
