Portland cement production is an unsustainable activity, consuming a lot of natural resources and energy, in addition to emitting to emitting a large amount of CO2. The main objective of this TFG is to study the feasibility of using fly ash from the combustion of rice husk (CA) and geosilex (GX), a residue composed mainly of calcicum hydroxide obtained in the acetylene industry, as a partial substitute for portland cement in the manufactura os mortars.
