Características psicoemocionales de los grandes usuarios de redes sociales

Resumen
El presente estudio es una investigación que pone de manifiesto en qué variables emocionales y de
personalidad se diferencian los grandes usuarios de redes sociales de los sujetos que no utilizan
dichas redes. La muestra está formada por 38 sujetos con edades comprendidas entre los 14 y los
20 años. Se han utilizado diferentes test para medir las variables psicoemocionales dinamismo,
dominancia, energía, control de emociones y de impulsos, estabilidad emocional, apertura a la
cultura, a la experiencia y mental, distorsión, búsqueda de emociones y de excitación,
desinhibición, susceptibilidad al aburrimiento, afecto padre, afecto madre, critica padre, critica
madre, padre con estilo educativo inductivo, indulgente o rígido, madre con estilo educativo
inductivo, indulgente o rígido, histrionismo, narcisismo, dependencia, bienestar, autoeficacia social
y general, ansiedad social y apoyo social. La muestra se ha clasificado en dos grupos: grandes
usuarios de redes sociales (más de 4 horas diarias conectados) y no usuarios de redes sociales. Los
resultados obtenidos indican que los grandes usuarios de redes sociales puntúan más alto en
intolerancia, susceptibilidad al aburrimiento, histrionismo, narcisismo, fobia social y menos en
bienestar que los no usuarios de redes sociales.
The present paper shows a research whose aim is to present to what extent social network users differs from non-users in terms of emotional variables and personality. This is the main goal regarding the present paper. Thirty-eight people, aged between 14 and 20 years old, were used in the sampling. Also different tests were applied in order to measure psycoemotional variables such us dynamism, dominance, power, control of emotions, impulse control, emotional stability, openness to culture, openness to experience, open-mindedness, distortion, thrill seeking, excitement seeking, disinhibition, susceptibility to boredom, affection father, affection mother, father criticizes, criticizes mother, father, father indulgent educational style, educational style rigid father, mother inductive educational style, educational style with an indulgent mother, mother with rigid educational style, histrionic, narcissistic, dependent inductive educational style, welfare, social self-efficacy, overall self-efficacy, social anxiety and social support. The sampling was divided into two different groups: serious social network users (more than four hours a day online) and non-users. The final results claim that serious social network users, opposite to non-users, are more liable to intolerance, susceptibility to boredom, histrionics, narcissism, social anxiety and less to comfort.
