PONCHO Y SOMBRERO REFLEXIONES DEL RACISMO EN ECUADOR A TRAVÉS DE UN LIBRO ILUSTRADO.

Abstract

[ES]A través del relato de varias experiencias la investigación artística pretende expresar la desigualdad, el racismo y diferentes problemas que se generaron en Ecuador en el periodo de la conquista y que aún persisten. A pesar de que el país ha sido declarado multicultural y multiétnico. El indígena y varios mestizos no son bien aceptados, la hegemonía de la clase blanca tiene tal impacto, que los apellidos y el tono de piel es un factor que influye en la inserción en el ámbito laboral y social. Para ello, llevo a cabo la creación de un libro ilustrado como resultado de la investigación, basado en la experiencia vivida. [EN]Through the story of several experiences, artistic research aims to express inequality, racism and different problems that were generated in Ecuador during the conquest period and that still persist. Despite the fact that the country has been declared multicultural and multi-ethnic. The indigenous and several mestizos are not well accepted, the hegemony of the white class has such an impact, that the surnames and skin tone is a factor that influences the insertion in the labor and social environment.
