Trabajo Social en el primer mes de ingreso en el medio penitenciario

Abstract

Este trabajo fin de grado tiene como objetivo proponer un nuevo capítulo para el Manual de Procedimiento de Trabajo Social en Instituciones Penitenciarias, centrándose en la función del trabajador/a social en el primer mes de adaptación con el propósito de alinear sus objetivos con el protocolo de acogida. Además, a través de la investigación, se han identificado las principales barreras que enfrentan estos profesionales como pueden ser la sobrecarga laboral, la falta de personal y el exceso de burocracia, lo que afecta directamente la calidad de las intervenciones y el objetivo de reinserción social. Por otro lado, se resalta la importancia de ajustar la entrevista de ingreso para enfocarse en la contención emocional del interno/a y de mejorar la coordinación interdisciplinaria. Finalmente, el trabajo manifiesta soluciones que incluyen brindar información y acompañamiento del preso/a en su proceso de adaptación antes de realizar las primeras entrevistas. Por otra parte, se plantea la simplificación de la burocracia, la adopción de herramientas tecnológicas y el fortalecimiento de la formación y supervisión profesional, contribuyendo así a una mejora en la calidad del trabajo social en prisiones

This final degree project aims to propose a new chapter for the Manual of Social Work Procedure in Penitentiary Institutions, focusing on the role of the social worker in the first month of adaptation with the purpose of aligning their objectives with the protocol of reception. Furthermore, through research, the main barriers faced by these professionals have been identified, such as work overload, lack of personnel and excess bureaucracy, which directly affects the quality of the interventions and the objective of social reintegration. On the other hand, the importance of adjusting the admission interview to focus on the emotional containment of the inmate and improving interdisciplinary coordination is highlighted. Finally, the work shows solutions that include providing information and accompaniment to the prisoner in their adaptation process before conducting the first interviews. On the other hand, the simplification of bureaucracy, the adoption of technological tools and the strengthening of professional training and supervision are proposed, thus contributing to an improvement in the quality of social work in prisons
