[EN]In the last years, the intercultural aspects have firmly irrupted in the foreign languages’ learning area. Traditionally, this didactic field had found its mainstay in linguistic competences, along with grammar learning and the lexical elements as the undoubtably priority. Nevertheless, we teachers and scholaries increasingly wonder, what about the importance of knowing how to communicate in real contexts where culture makes its primordial function? The aim of this project is to go deep inside of the interculturality’s world and find the extent to which the cultural knowledge is linked to the learning of a meta language. It results in an investigation on the intercultural competence’s origins an evolution, within the languages’ teachin-learning and a didactic proposal that allows to deal with the real culture in the ELE schoolroom naturally. Learning in a language implies the developing of a competent behavior in different and varied communicative situations taking it into account during the interaction with the rest of speakers. To rich this target the fully immersion in this culture is fundamental. Due to this reason, our target has been focused on a small project’s creation where the lingüistic and extralingüistic components go shoulder by shoulder with the aim of offering the students a work set created by real materials to improve their learning process. Key words: interculturality, linguistic competence, culture, investigation, didactic proposal, ELE.
