MENORES VÍCTIMAS DE VIOLENCIA DE GÉNERO EN SITUACIÓN DE VULNERABILIDAD SOCIOECONÓMICA: “DANDO CAÑA”, VOLUNTARIADO EDUCATIVO COMO OPORTUNIDAD DE FUTURO

Abstract

Este proyecto aborda la violencia de género, menores, pobreza, educación y el deporte, con el fin de reducir la desigualdad de oportunidades en situaciones específicas. Se reconoce que, en casos de violencia de género, los/as menores también son víctimas, y que en las familias con pocos recursos se puede manifestar en un bajo rendimiento académico, afectando a su futuro. El papel del Trabajador/a Social es identificar a menores y formar grupos según edades y necesidades académicas. Estos grupos recibirán apoyo educativo por parte del voluntariado universitario en materias específicas, igualando así sus oportunidades con las de otros/as menores que no presentan esta problemática. Además, se implementará una intervención en su bienestar emocional y físico mediante deportes en equipo. Esta intervención integral busca ofrecer a los y las menores un futuro más

This project addresses gender-based violence, children, poverty, education and sport in order to reduce inequality of opportunity in specific situations. It is recognised that in cases of gender-based violence, children are also victims, and that in families with few resources this can manifest itself in poor academic performance, affecting their future. The role of the social worker is to identify children and form groups according to age and academic needs. These groups will receive educational support from university volunteers in specific subjects, thus equalising their opportunities with those of other children who do not have this problem.
