Sumas y restas con bloques multibase

Abstract

Este TFG recoge cómo los estudiantes de primaria afrontan la adición y la sustracción. Para ello, se ha analizado en primer lugar en qué consisten estas operaciones y los enunciados de los problemas que van ligados a ellas; en segundo lugar, se han comparado cómo dos editoriales de libros de textos afrontan la enseñanza de estos contenidos y, por último, se han indicado algunas de las estrategias y dificultades más comunes en esta área. Tras esta pequeña investigación, se encuentra una unidad didáctica para primer ciclo de primaria en la que se enseña la suma y la resta utilizando bloques multibase.

In this TFG it can be found how elementary school students cope with addition and subtraction. To this end, it has been first analyzed what these operations consist in and the wordings of the problems that are linked to them; secondly, it has been compared how two textbook publishers face the teaching of these contents and, finally, the most common strategies and difficulties made by students have been pointed out. After this small research, there is a teaching unit for the first grade in which the addition and subtraction are taught using base-ten blocks.
