La Cultura Restaurativa: una forma de abordar los conflictos en el aula

Abstract

El trabajo, representa un estudio sobre el conflicto en el aula y como es comúnmente resuelto por medio del castigo, lo que dará paso a una breve introducción de una nueva metodología para afrontarlo: la cultura restaurativa. Esta cultura en sus inicios fue utilizada exclusivamente en lo penal. Hablamos de un tipo de justicia que enfatiza la restauración de aquella situación que ha sido provocada, generando aprendizaje en aquellos que han causado un daño y satisfaciendo la necesidad de quienes han sido dañados. Por ello, es conveniente aplicarla en contextos educativos y superar así los límites del castigo como única respuesta al conflicto. Este es una acción inherente a las interacciones humanas, por eso es importante cambiar el punto de vista hacia el mismo y empezar a valorar las oportunidades que nos ofrece para generar en nuestro alumnado un proceso de aprendizaje de habilidades útiles para su vida. Si nos adentramos en el tratamiento del conflicto entre iguales en el aula y fijamos como eje de acción la restauración, observaremos corno es esencial el tratamiento del diálogo y la necesidad de poseer habilidades comunicativas. Para finalizar, presentaremos el diseño de una propuesta de intervención, por medio de ella introduciremos la cultura restaurativa en el aula, con el fin de generar en nuestro alumnado un clima de convivencia que prevenga la violencia.

The project that will be later on exposed represents a study on the conflict in the classroom and how it is commonly resolved by means of punishment, which will lead to a brief introduction of a new methodology to confront it: the restorative culture. This culture at the beginning it was exclusively used for penal purposes. We are talking about a type of justice that emphasizes with the restoration of a situation that has been induced, creating learning in those who have caused damage and satisfying the need of those who have been damaged. lt is convenient applying it in educational contexts and therefore overtake the limits of punishment as the only response to the conflict. This is an inherent action to human nteractions, this is the reason why it is important to change the point of view towards the same and start valuing the opp01tunities that it brings us in order to create an useful leaming process into om student's body life. If we go in depth into the conflict's treatment between children in the classroom and we set the restoration as the axis of action, we will observe how the dialog treatment is essential and how imp01tant is the need of cornmunication skills. To finalize, we will present the design of an intervention proposal, by means of it we will introduce the restorative culture in the classroom. Our main aim is to create a cohabitation environment into our student body that will prevent violence.
